Thank you for visiting Authentic Pine Floors. Since 1984, we have produced the highest quality hand-crafted, wide plank floors available. What began as a simple love and appreciation for wide planks has evolved into a passion for not only the wood, but for the story and work behind the wood.

Authentic Pine Floors started simply, from small beginnings. When remodeling their home in 1984, my parents wanted 12-inch wide plank flooring in their kitchen. Wide planks were not easily available then, and the only way they could get the flooring was to buy a truck load. To sell what they couldn't use, they placed an ad in the paper. It turns out that Joe and Edna Jiovenetta needed 5,000 feet themselves - they were our first customers, became our friends and Authentic Pine Floors was born.

Now specializing in antique/reclaimed heart pine, we are producing floors with a story to match their character. With material salvaged from the Old Crow Distillery, American Tobacco and John Deere, our floors are rich in American history. For our custom prefinished floors we use an oil that penetrates into the wood and enriches the deep patina of age. We love this finish because we all deal with kids, pets etc....you know, real life.  We just prefer to actually live on our floors rather than worrying about scratching them.
